The 2000XR is not a toy. We don't even like to call it a "scooter". We call it a Motorboard. It is a serious transportation device with a top speed of 12 MPH giving it the power and endurance necessary to get around in any urban environment. What's even more incredible is that the 2000X can be easily folded up, and weighing only 19.5 pounds (8.8 kg) it is light enough to be carried on the subway, bus, train, or into the office.

		What makes the Go Motorboard so great? New Lithium Batteries give more power and longer run time than previous models. These are the same high-quality M1 cells from A123 Systems that DeWalt uses in their newest cordless drills. Front Suspension is engineered with specially tuned springs which give the motorboard a silky smooth ride. Twin Motors are custom made for this application. They are not off-the-shelf motors that others use. Our motors have been custom wound and optimized for torque and efficiency -- and have surprising power too. 6061 Aluminum Alloy is used throughout. This alloy is stronger and stiffer than the typical "architectural" grades used by other manufacturers. Space Requirements of the Go Motorboard are small. It folds up into a very compact size and the steering shaft becomes a carrying handle.
