After learning to ride your Segway i2, our expert guides will take you about one mile along the Pacific Ocean boardwalk before heading inland along sidewalks to Kate Sessions Park. There is a nice view from that park but as they say: "You ain't seen nothin' yet". From the park named after the mother of Balboa Park, we head up to the war memorial atop Mt. Soledad. From this 830 foot perch, the view is incredible. You can see the coast of La Jolla to the North, inland toward the city of San Diego to the West, and the downtown San Diego skyline and Mission Bay to the South. Your Segway is powerful and it glides up and down this mountain like its not even there. Reservations are required. Same-day reservations may be possible. ~ Riders must be 12 years old or older. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult on a separate Segway.
~ Bicycle helmets are required for all riders and will be provided free of charge. Feel free to bring a helmet if you have one.
~ Close-toed shoes are recommended for safety and comfort reasons.
~ The weather in San Diego is usually very nice. On a colder day, you will want a jacket. From June through September, the temperature is usually quite comfortable and in the 80s.
